Another general has gone home to be with the Lord.
John Paul Jackson, an internationally recognized prophet perhaps best known for his biblical-based dream interpretation ministry has gone home to be with the Lord.
Jackson had been suffering from cancer in his leg since May 2014 and on Tuesday, February 17th, his ministry put out a serious call to prayer stating:
“Over this past weekend we’ve started to see signs that his weakened breathing is causing vital organs to become oxygen deprived,” stated his ministry. “This is causing his heart to have to work much harder to supply oxygen, and thus is causing his entire body distress.”
Throughout this fight Jackson has remained courageous.
“I am pursuing the kingdom of God and equipping people to do the same as vigorously as I am able. I refuse to allow the enemy a stronghold in my thoughts. God is great and all-powerful,” Jackson stated in 2014. “I believe He will take me through this battle. In the process, God will gain a great victory and His name will be glorified.”
John Paul Jackson launched his Streams International ministry in 1993 and in addition to being well known for his “headline” prophecies and dream/vision interpretations, he also launched his Dreams and Mysteries show broadcasted on Daystar which “is a television show that will not shy away from the difficult questions about the supernatural arena….To make you aware of the wonderful spiritual mysteries we overlook every day and encourage you to chase after them for yourselves.” The Dreams and Mysteries website goes on to explain that the goal is for each viewer to “leave changed.”
This past week, John Paul also recently announced that he was launching an additional show entitled John Paul Jackson and Friends, meant to air on the Streams Media Network, was set to launch soon starting with exclusive teachings by R.T. Kendall.
John Paul’s wife, Diane, just released this statement:
I want to thank each of you for the prayers and outpouring of encouragement we’ve received over the last year. After recovering miraculously from cancer surgery last summer and returning to the activities and ministry work he loved, we found out a few months ago that the pleurisy and inflammation John Paul was experiencing in his lungs could be a sign of something more serious. Despite the heartfelt prayers from those closest to him and many of you around the world, my husband, John Paul went to be with the Lord peacefully at our home this morning surrounded by family and loved ones.
John Paul Jackson touched many lives and his down-to-earth personality as well as his biblically-grounded prophetic ministry will be missed by many around the world. He has been a pillar of strength throughout this entire process and now, our prayers are directed toward his wife, family, friends, and ministry.
