Thursday, January 29th, the late Dr. Myles Munroe was honoured by the Israeli government for their persistent support and promotion of Israel, the people, and the state.
Minister Uzi Landou presented the award to Myles “Chairo” Munroe Jr. and his sister, Charisa Munroe, on behalf of the Knesset Christian Allies Caucus and World Jewish Congress at an annual event which honours Christian allies.
Knesset Christian Allies Caucus Director, John Reinstein, believes the Dr. Munroe was “courageous” and possessed “the heart of a lion.”
Myles Munroe was a true Israeli hero. He stood up unabashedly in a lot of countries where it’s not popular to talk on behalf of Israel and say that he loves Israel, he loves the people of Israel, he loves the God of Israel, he loves the Bible of Israel. And because of that, he’s just left such an impact on the government of Israel, on the state of Israel, and its people.

Charisa Munroe also had much to say about her parents on the momentous occasion.
It’s definitely an honour and a privilege. I’m more proud of my parents everyday. Everyday they show me how much they really loved the world and how much God meant to them and they really demonstrated that in everything they did around the world. So it’s definitely an honour.
Myles Munroe Jr. was very proud to announce the presentation of the award to his Facebook friends. He posted an image on Instagram and Facebook with a caption reading:
Accepting the award from the Knesset Christian Allies Caucus and the Ministry of Tourism of Israel in honor of our Dad for efforts of tourism to this country for the past 30+ years. Proud of them both #mylesmunroe#ruthmunroe #MinistryOfTourism #Israel #award #munroes #mylesmunroejr#legacy #family #foe #love
He, along with his sister, also heartily invites all those interested to participate in an annual trip to Israel.
Join my sister and I as we take this memorial tour of the Holy Land like our parents did every year. Join us in celebrating and memorializing their lives. The Israeli Knesset will also be honoring them with an award during this time. So make plans to join us for this celebratory moment. We hope to see you there! (See www.feastofpentecostlive.com)
Myles Jr. and Charisa are most certainly carrying on their parents’ good works.
